PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ECLAZ® LUMI (II) meets thermal insulation standards in double and triple glazing configurations. But thanks to its unequalled transparency and high solar factor, ECLAZ® LUMI (II) goes even further: it allows to reach the highest requirements in terms of energy efficiency and occupants' comfort at the same time, with free heat of sun and access to natural light and external view.
World Green Building Council reports positive impact of daylight and external views on well-being, health, and productivity. Promoting natural light indoors therefore becomes essential, especially as we spend more and more time at home in home office.
BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS
ECLAZ® LUMI (II): For triple and double-glazed windows for cold and mild climate
- 10 % relative gain of solar factor (g-value of 71% in double glazing and 60% in triple glazing configuration) versus best available triple or double-glazing solution
- Such unequalled solar gains and luminous transmission (TL of 83% in double glazing and 77% in triple glazing configuration) allow the best energy efficiency for cold climates and mild climates. Up to 10% energy saving on heating versus standard triple or double glazing according to Passive House Institute* calculations.
- Neutral aesthetics with a limited mirror effect for residential or non-residential application

ECLAZ® LUMI (II) can be used in all insulating glass units, for new buildings or renovation works.
- In windows in residential buildings
- In windows in non-residential buildings
- In façades in non-residential buildings, mainly in triple-glazed units with coating on face 5, in combination with COOL-LITE® coating on face 2.
ECLAZ® LUMI (II) is also available in some European countries on ORAÉ® low-carbon glass, to combine performance and sustainability and provide the best of both embodied and operational carbon levels.
This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is cradle to cradle bronze certified.
APPEARANCE
ECLAZ® LUMI (II) is the most transparent glass on the market. It offers color neutrality in transmission and in reflection, while preserving colors of surroundings seen through the glazing.

ECLAZ® LUMI (II) is also available on demand in more tailor-made size (split length) and thicknesses, and on extra-clear DIAMANT® glass or for production or design optimization.
PROCESSING
ECLAZ® LUMI (II) can be processed as a standard low-e coating. For more technical information, please refer to ECLAZ® LUMI (II) processing guidelines documents.
ECLAZ® LUMI (II) exists in laminated version to offer safety (STADIP® PROTECT) or sound insulation (STADIP® SILENCE), and even in light configurations where carbon footprint is minimized and handling is easier. They can be also combined with easy maintenance and design functions.
- ANNEALED: The product is available in Annealed version.
- HEAT-TREATMENT: The product is available in To-be-tempered version (with suffix II)
- INSULATED GLAZING UNIT: The product must be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); The coating must be positioned inside the IGU.
- LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face 4 of the laminated pane).
- BENDING: The to-be-tempered version of the product (II) can be bent. Bending results depend on the process/technology used; trials should be done for validation
- Annealed and the to-be-tempered versions of the product offer similar performances and aesthetic with a good compatibility in outdoor reflection. Contact us for more details.
