Saint-Gobain Research Center – the Group’s first and largest R&D facility – has been expanded with a new 6,000 m² building designed to embody innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being. Built with cutting-edge techniques and high-performance materials, the extension offers a modern, comfortable, and durable environment dedicated to research and development.

COOL-LITE® XTREME 70/33, ECLAZ® ZEN, and ORAÉ® low-carbon glass ensure outstanding solar control, superior thermal insulation, and a reduced carbon footprint—perfectly aligned with the center’s sustainability objectives.
SAGEGLASS® Classic and Harmony® electrochromic glazing deliver dynamic solar management, enhancing both visual and thermal comfort.
CONTRAFLAM® fire-resistant glass from Vetrotech Saint-Gobain adds advanced safety and protection.
In total, more than 100 solutions from 16 Saint-Gobain brands were implemented, focusing on thermal, acoustic, and visual comfort, as well as indoor air quality. This extension stands as a living showcase of Saint-Gobain’s innovation and commitment to sustainable development, while providing researchers with an environment tailored to creativity, collaboration, and well-being.
