COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22 II helps to find the right balance for building dealing with tight specification and standard, thanks a light transmission of 47% to maximize brighter interiors and natural lighting combined with a very low solar factor of only 0.21 helping to reduce the need for air conditioning.
COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22 II can be used to create more comfortable interiors by reducing overheating in the summer and heat loss in the winter, whilst retaining a neutral appearance.

THIS PRODUCT IS IN PHASE-OUT AND IS REPLACED BY COOL-LITE® XTREME 51/23 II, which is bringing not only a new modern neutral aesthetic but also available in an annealed version.

As for COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22, the product continues to stand out with its exceptional balance of aesthetics and performance:

COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22 II features an extremely selective solar control coating primarily for use in the commercial and premium building market.
Due to the high performance of the coating, it is ideally suited for use in facades or overhead glazing in applications requiring toughened or heat-treated glass, for example:

• Healthcare
• Education
• Other
Its middle/high light transmission together with the low solar factor makes it the ideal product to create light spaces and to provides all year long natural lighting and energy saving. The combination of low reflection and neutral aspect makes it the ideal product for modern architecture, with large glass panes, also in hot climate. It might prevent the use of shading systems and shutters and thus can be used in renovation of historic building.
COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22 II is also available on ORAÉ® low-carbon glass, to combine performance and sustainability and provide the best of both embodied and operational carbon levels.
This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® V4.0 Bronze.

PROCESSING
- HEAT-TREATMENT: The product is available in To-be-tempered version (with suffix II); It is delivered in standard with EASYPRO® temporary surface protection. To achieve its performances and aesthetics, the product must be tempered. It is compatible with Heat Soak Test.
- EDGE DELETION: Edge deletion of the coating is compulsory prior to assembling.
- INSULATED GLAZING UNIT: The product must be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); The coating must be positioned on the face 2 (inside the IGU).
- LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face 4 of the laminated pane).
- BENDING: The product can be bent. Bending results depend on the process/technology used; trials should be done for validation.
- ENAMELING: No common approval for the enameling of silver-based high-performance coatings.
