PLANITHERM® 4S and PLANITHERM® 4S EVOLUTION

PLANITHERM^® 4S (II) and PLANITHERM^® 4S EVOLUTION are recommended in double glazed windows in hot climates (South and South-East Europe), both in the residential sector and in the tertiary sector (schools, hospitals, etc.). They help to improve insulation in cold seasons and manage solar control in sunny seasons, leading to energy savings on heating and cooling and thermal comfort of occupants.

The performances of PLANITHERM^® 4S (II) and PLANITHERM^® 4S EVOLUTION allow:
•    Summer Comfort. Take advantage of the windows while significantly limiting overheating of the interior space. Thanks to its solar factor (g = 0.42), 58% of solar energy is blocked outside.
•    Winter Comfort. Their low-emissivity make it possible to achieve the best reinforced thermal insulation in double glazing (Ug 1.0 W/m²K).
•    Visual Comfort. The limitation of solar energy input means that added protections such as blinds, or curtains are used less frequently. This makes it possible to take better advantage of the windows and benefit from daylight and outside view.

New house example in Sevilla (Spain) with reversible heat-pump: installing double glazed windows with PLANITHERM^® 4S instead of standard low-e allows to decrease the electricity consumption for heating and cooling by quoter while limiting the air-conditioning nuisances by 30%*.
