Syggrou Office Complex is a modern landmark in Athens, located on the iconic Syggrou Avenue. Designed by Divercity Architects and Bennetts Associates for DIMAND S.A., the development comprises two eight-storey buildings covering 31,000 m². Certified LEED Platinum and Gold, the project seamlessly blends contemporary architecture with the historic character of the Greek capital.
Saint-Gobain glass solutions were key to achieving both sustainability and comfort:
COOL-LITE® SKN 176 II with STADIP SILENCE® blocks 63% of solar energy while allowing 70% light transmission, ensuring bright and comfortable interiors.
With a Ug-value of 1.0 W/m².K, it provides excellent thermal insulation, reducing energy demand throughout the year.
STADIP SILENCE® laminated glass enhances acoustic comfort, shielding interiors from the surrounding urban noise. The façade maximizes daylight and views of Athens’ most iconic landmarks, including the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus, while reflecting the city’s vibrant energy and luminous climate.
This project sets a new benchmark for sustainable commercial buildings in Greece, showing how innovative glazing solutions can harmonize modern design, local culture, and environmental responsibility.
