Description
The House of Music, a remarkable addition to Budapest’s cultural landscape is the ideal fusion of architecture, music and nature.
Designed by the renowned Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, this iconic structure features a distinctive undulating roof that encapsulates a range of interactive musical experiences to celebrate the art of music making.
Comprising 94 frameless panels of our solar control glass COOL-LITE® SKN 176 II up to 12-meters high, the glass facade not only offer stunning visuals but also contribute to reducing the building’s energy needs.
The roof has also integrated 100 openings, each glazed with Saint-Gobain Glass’s high security laminated glass to further connect the visitors to the sky view.
The House of Music achieved BREEAM “very good”, a testament of its innovation and commitment to sustainability.
