COOL-LITE® SKN 154 & 154 II
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
COOL‑LITE® SKN 155 and 155 II are the next European generation of the current COOL‑LITE® SKN 154 and 154 II, offering improved performance and refined aesthetics. The current products will be gradually phased out across Europe with a smooth, managed transition to ensure seamless continuity.
BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS
The color-neutral character of COOL-LITE® SKN solar control glass achieves particularly natural lighting effects - both inside and out.
In double-glazing, COOL-LITE® SKN 154 (II) blocks 72% of solar energy, while letting 52% of light going through the glazing*, leading to the following benefits:
- Energy saving, by reducing air-conditioning costs during sunny periods. In winter, it offers the exceptional performance of thermal insulation for greater comfort.
- Increased daylight, all year round by making wider glazing possible.
- Aesthetic with neutral colour tint and subtle level of reflection.
COOL-LITE® SKN 154 and SKN 154 II lend themselves to a wide range of applications in new buildings and renovations:
• Offices
• Hospitals
• Schools
• Sport centers
• Stores
• Restaurants
• Large glazings and bay windows facing south or west.
• Skylights and conservatory roofs
• Double Skin Façades (DSF)
*in standard 6/16/4 mm DGU configuration, with coating on face #2, according to EN410
COOL-LITE® SKN 154 (II) is also available on ORAÉ® low-carbon glass, to combine performance and sustainability and provide the best of both embodied and operational carbon levels.
This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® V4.0 Bronze.
