COOL-LITE® SKN 144 II is a high-performance solar control coated glass, which features an extremely low solar factor that keeps the maximum amount of heat out without completely cutting off the natural light.

BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS

In double-glazing unit, COOL-LITE^® SKN 144 (II) blocks as much as 77% of incident solar radiation whilst providing the interior with 40% of natural light*.

•   Cladding of external walls
•   Overhead and atria glazing.

COOL-LITE^® SKN 144 II is also available on ORAÉ® low-carbon glass, to combine performance and sustainability and provide the best of both embodied and operational carbon levels.

This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is Cradle to Cradle Certified^® V4.0 Bronze.

APPEARANCE

COOL-LITE^® SKN 144 II offers colour neutrality whatever the viewing angles, low reflection level with outstanding performances.

PROCESSING

HEAT-TREATMENT: The product is available in To-be-tempered version (with suffix II); It is delivered in standard with EASYPRO^® temporary surface protection. To achieve its performance and aesthetics, the product must be tempered. It is compatible with Heat Soak Test.
EDGE DELETION: Edge deletion of the coating is compulsory prior to assembling.
INSULATED GLAZING UNIT: The product must be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); The coating must be positioned on the face 2 (inside the IGU).
LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face 4 of the laminated pane). Consult us for the list of coating validated in contact with the interlayer.
BENDING: The to-be-tempered version of the product (II) can be bent. Bending results depend on the process/technology used; trials should be done for validation.
ENAMELING: No common approval for the enameling of silver-based high-performance coatings.
