PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
COOL-LITE® KS 147 can be used annealed for applications where no heat-treatment is required; it can be combined with many Saint-Gobain Glass products for enhanced performance or new functions.
BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS
Thanks to its silver aesthetics, the product blends in well with different environments or, on the contrary, can be used to create differentiating facades in certain markets.
- Aesthetic: Silver reflective outer appearance, to blend in or stand out.
- Solar control: by allowing less than a third of the sun's heat to pass through at all times, it contributes to the comfort and energy efficiency of buildings.
COOL-LITE® KS 147 is an ideal option for all types of facade, dedicated to both non-residential (office buildings, stores, hotels, restaurants, etc.), and residential usages with an outstanding visual result.
It should be noted that COOL-LITE® KS 147 and KS 146 II have different performances and aesthetics and it is not recommended to combine them on the same facade.
APPEARANCE
COOL-LITE® KS 147 is offering a neutral aesthetic in transmission with silver reflections from outside.

PROCESSING
- ANNEALED: The product required no heat-treatment.
- EDGE DELETION: Edge deletion of the coating is compulsory prior to assembling.
- INSULATED GLAZING UNIT: The product must be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); The coating must be positioned on the face 2 (inside the IGU).
- LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face 4 of the laminated pane). Consult us for the list of coatings validated in contact with the interlayer.
