Description
Located in the heart of Gdańsk, the Non-Invasive Medicine Center (NIMC) is one of the most advanced medical and educational facilities in Europe. Designed for the Medical University of Gdańsk, the complex consists of four interconnected buildings forming a U-shaped layout, linked to the neighboring Invasive Medicine Center. With over 700 beds, specialized units, and research spaces, the NIMC sets new standards in patient care, innovation, and healthcare education.
The façades of the center feature COOL-LITE® SKN 176 from Saint-Gobain Glass, chosen for its perfect balance of daylight and solar protection. With a light transmission of 70%, this high-performance glazing allows natural light to fill patient rooms and corridors while minimizing glare and heat gain—ensuring comfort and energy efficiency across the complex. Its neutral, low-reflective appearance enhances visual clarity and creates a welcoming, modern atmosphere for both patients and staff.
Blending architectural functionality with sustainability, the Non-Invasive Medicine Center embodies a holistic vision of healthcare design. Its bright, open interiors, advanced medical technologies, and environmentally conscious materials work together to foster well-being, innovation, and efficiency—illustrating how smart façade solutions can support healing environments.
