Since December 16, 2011, the city of Heidelberg has one more attraction: The House of Astronomy, an extraordinary new building developed in the shape of a spiral galaxy, has been built on the Königsstuhl next to the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA) and the State Observatory.
