Description
Bernina7 is a landmark office development in the vibrant Scalo Farini district of Milan, at the heart of the city’s ambitious urban regeneration plan. Designed by Il Prisma, the project combines functionality, sustainability, and architectural innovation, fully aligned with Milan’s 2030 vision.
At its core, the building features high-performance curtain walls equipped with Saint-Gobain’s COOL-LITE® XTREME 70/33 glass. Offering 70% light transmission while blocking two-thirds of solar heat, this advanced glazing strikes the perfect balance between natural daylight and solar control. The result is a bright, comfortable interior that reduces the need for artificial lighting while enhancing thermal efficiency year-round, a major asset for achieving LEED certification.
Beyond energy performance, the façade concept supports the building’s “Open Landscape” philosophy, creating a sense of transparency and connection between the interior and the surrounding cityscape. Complementing the glazing, Isover insulation solutions deliver excellent thermal and acoustic performance, ensuring a quiet and comfortable working environment.
Bernina7 is more than just an office building—it is a symbol of Milan’s commitment to sustainable innovation, setting a benchmark for the city’s future under the Milan 2030 urban plan.
