It is suitable for an extended range of applications, providing improved visibility and reduced reflection:
Internal applications: It's well-suited for display cabinets in museums, protective screens for artwork, and internal partitions in hospitals or TV studios. The anti-reflective coating ensures clear vision and enhances colour rendering, promising an exceptional viewing experience.
External applications: It's an excellent choice for shopfronts, panoramic restaurant glazing, and control rooms where clear visibility and minimal reflection are essential. The glass provides safety and UV protection, ensuring durability and comfort in a variety of settings.
The entire range VISION-LITE® (incl. Semi VISION-LITE®) is Cradle-to-Cradle Certified® V4.0 at Bronze level on the latest version of the standard across all five C2C categories.It is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) available in the Environdec library.
APPEARANCE
VISION-LITE® presents a crystal-clear, anti-reflective surface that ensures excellent visibility, avoiding the unwanted glare.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
RANGE
VISION-LITE® is available in multiple compositions and dimensions, suitable for different applications:
- Semi VISION-LITE®: Monolithic, with anti-reflective coating on one side only on DIAMANT® extra clear glass), available in 4 & 6 mm.
- VISION-LITE® STADIP® (on demand): Laminated glazing, with anti-reflective coating on both sides, on DIAMANT® extra clear glass. Available in 44.2, 64.2 & 66.2

PROCESSING
VISION-LITE® can withstand many types of processing, however, it cannot be tempered.
VISION-LITE® can be processed to ensure:
- Aesthetic shaping: With the ability to be custom cut into various shapes and sizes, it offers designers the flexibility to create any design.
- Safety enhancement: To ensure safety without compromising its anti-reflectivity, VISION-LITE® is available in STADIP® PROTECT. This laminated offer guarantees improved security, anti-burglary and anti-UV functions.
- Thermal Insulation: The inner sheet of the laminated panel can be substituted with a low-emissivity coated glass such as PLANITHERM® UN to improve thermal comfort indoors.
INSTALLATION
Installing VISION-LITE® requires following the prescribed guidelines. Key considerations include:
- Take precautions for horizontal interior applications, such as museum cabinets to prevent scratches and excessive finger marks
- Although VISION-LITE® has minimal residual reflectance (about 1%) with double anti-reflective coatings, it may still be noticeable under certain lighting and viewing conditions
- For exterior applications, it's recommended to get samples to assess residual reflectance in real situations
