BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS
- Flexibility and durability: great freedom of use, thanks to their durability and ease of processing. The products from the COOL-LITE® ST family are real all-rounders. Their numerous processing options open up a wide range of possibilities for architectural and technical planning.
- One version for two applications: annealed or tempered.
- Added solar protection: As monolithic glass or combined with other coatings from Saint-Gobain Glass products range, in façade or skylight COOL-LITE® ST 136 & STB 136 can reduce the solar heat entering the building.
- Several aesthetics: ST136 and STB 136 let you choose between different aesthetics, slightly reflective from neutral to blue.
The durability, ease of transformation of COOL-LITE® ST136 & STB 136 make them ideal for:
- Single-glazed laminated shutters (with the layer against the PVB film).
- Skylights and roofs with good solar protection
- Spandrels
- Windows in buildings where occupants want to preserve their privacy during the day, thanks to their slightly reflective appearance.
This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® V4.0 Bronze.

PROCESSING
- ANNEALED: The product can be used annealed.
- HEAT-TREATMENT: The product is a one stock product; it can be heat-treated. It is compatible with Heat Soak Test.
- EDGE DELETION: No edge deletion of the coating needed.
- ASSEMBLY: The product can be used as monolithic glass; it can be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); The coating must be positioned on the face #2, it cannot be used on surface #1 (Class B coating according EN1096)
- LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face #4 of the laminated pane). Consult us for the list of coating validated in contact with the interlayer.
- BENDING: ST 136 can be bent. It’s not recommended to bent STB 136; Bending results depend on the process/technology used; trials should be done for validation.
- ENAMELING: can be screen-printed or enameled (restrictions to be respected, contact us for detailed processing guidelines).
