BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS

Silver aesthetic and high transparency: COOL-LITE^® ST BRIGHT SILVER, impresses with its extremely high transparency, distinctive silver aesthetic and neutral reflection. With this combination, the product provides both extreme comfort and excellent privacy levels. To reinforce these aspects, this coating is applied as standard to extra-white DIAMANT^® float glass; regular PLANICLEAR^® clear float glass is also available on request.
Flexibility: Tempering and bending, heat-strenghthening, laminating for safety glass, screen-printing, or enameling: The products from the COOL-LITE^® ST family are real all-rounders. Their numerous processing options open up a wide range of possibilities for architectural and technical planning.

COOL-LITE^® ST BRIGHT SILVER is ideal for all types of facades in commercial buildings where epic, reflective, and differentiating design is requested with no compromise on daylight income.

COOL-LITE^®ST BRIGHT SILVER can be used as monolithic glazing on face #2, which make it perfectly suited as the outer skin of double skin or closed cavity façades, combined with other COOL-LITE^® solar control coating.

It aesthetic and also several possibilities for processing make it multi-purpose product from spandrels to insulated glazing units, or combined SageGlass tintable dynamic glass.

This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® V4.0 Bronze.

PROCESSING

COOL-LITE® ST BRIGHT SILVER is a product with great processing flexibility, as its main characteristic is that the glass can be used as tempered or laminated single glazing.

ANNEALED: The product can be used annealed.
HEAT-TREATMENT: The product is a one stock product; it can be heat-treated. It is compatible with Heat Soak Test.
EDGE DELETION: No edge deletion of the coating needed.
ASSEMBLY: The product can be used as monolithic glass; it can also be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); the coating must be positioned on the face #2, it cannot be used on surface #1 (Class B coating according EN1096). A low-e coating can be added on face #3 to reach the required Ug-value.
LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, either with the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face #4 of the laminated pane) or in contact with the interlayer (on face #2), without edge deletion.
BENDING: The product can be bent. Bending results depend on the process/technology used; trials should be done for validation.
ENAMELING: can be screen-printed or enameled (restrictions to be respected, contact us for detailed processing guidelines).
