Description
Located in Ames, Iowa, the Iowa State University campus welcomes a modern, light-filled building designed to provide students and faculty with an innovative and comfortable learning environment. Its architecture stands out with large glazed façades that create a strong connection between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape.
The project features COOL-LITE® XTREME 60/28 II (phased out), a high-performance solar control glass developed by Saint-Gobain Glass. This glazing combines high light transmission (60%) with effective solar protection (solar factor 0.28), ensuring optimal visual comfort while limiting heat gain.
With its refined design and efficient glass performance, the building reflects the university’s commitment to creating functional and forward-thinking educational spaces.
