TECHNICAL INFORMATION
RANGE
Produced from clear or tinted glass; it is available in thicknesses from 3 mm to 12 mm in various sizes, including dimensions from 3210 x 2000 to 3210 x 6000.
This range host 2 variants:
- SATINOVO®: features a single-sided treatment, creating a silky frosted effect .
- SATINOVO MATE®: also single-sided treatment, offers a different hue of matage, which allows more privacy
In some countries SATINOVO® DUO receives a double-sided satin treatment, enhancing mat effect and privacy (please consult us)
These two versions cater to different needs, making SATINOVO® the perfect choice for elevating the ambiance of any indoor space with its understated beauty.
PROCESSING
Similarly to standard glass, SATINOVO® is versatile in its processing capabilities including silvering, although meticulous care is essential to prevent leaving any marks on the glass.
It is recommended to cover the suction pads during handling while ensuring the smooth side of the glass faces the cutting table while the satin side remains facing upwards.
SATINOVO® can be processed to ensure:
Aesthetic shaping: Panels can be shaped or contoured to enhance their visual allure in any space.
Safety enhancement: Through processes like tempering and assembly into laminated safety glass, with STADIP® and STADIP® PROTECT, SATINOVO® ensures heightened safety and property protection, making it also ideal for environments with high traffic.
Thermal insulation: It can be paired with low-e glass in double glazing to improve thermal insulation while retaining its frosted appearance. The satin face can be positioned inside or outside the double glazing, with the satin face inside the cavity for easier maintenance.
Acoustic comfort: Integration into laminated glass with STADIP® SILENCE not only reduces noise pollution but also provides superior sound insulation, enhancing overall acoustic comfort in interior spaces.
INSTALLATION
Ensure that the installation of SATINOVO® complies with current safety standards and regulations. Be vigilant when using mastic and silicone, as they have the potential to leave permanent marks on the glass surface.
When installing in shower walls, orient the satin face outward to preserve its translucent appearance during usage.
MAINTENANCE
SATINOVO® can be cleaned with clear water or lightly soapy water, using a clean and undamaged sponge or cloth, similarly to clear glass cleaning methods.
