REFLECTASOL®
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The REFLECTASOL® range includes several shades, depending on the PARSOL® body-tinted glass used:
• REFLECTASOL® GREY
• REFLECTASOL® BRONZE / LIGHT BRONZE
• REFLECTASOL® GREEN / DARK GREEN.
• REFLECTASOL® BLUE / DARK BLUE.
• REFLECTASOL® LIGHT GOLD.
REFLECTASOL® can be used as single glazing or double glazing. To enhance its performance, REFLECTASOL® can be combined with other products of Saint-Gobain Glass.
BENEFITS & APPLICATIONS
The process known as ‘On-line pyrolytic coating’ gives the coating a number of properties such as strength and stability over time on one hand and solar control function limiting glare inside the building on the other hand.
- Solar control: The solar control properties and reflective appearance of REFLECTASOL® help keep the interiors cool and bring the power consumption down. It can be used as well for external or internal use.
- Visual comfort and privacy: The low light transmittance of REFLECTASOL® guarantees “visual comfort” against direct sunlight. The combination of high light reflectance and low light transmittance provides internal privacy, even in buildings with large, glazed areas.
REFLECTASOL® can be used as well for external or internal use.
It is suitable for most types of façades glazing in buildings like:
- Offices
- Schools
- Industrial buildings
- Hotels
- Residential buildings
Its attractive appearance also enhances the interior of a building:
- Reflective quality: creating a one-way observation effect in certain lighting conditions, transmitting light whilst screening vision.
- Beveled edges: to create a unique decorative effect (e.g., traditional internal doors)

PROCESSING
- ANNEALED: The product can be used annealed.
- HEAT-TREATMENT: The product can be heat-treated.
- EDGE DELETION: No edge deletion of the coating needed.
- ASSEMBLY: The product can be used as monolithic glass, with the coating placed on face#2 (at the interior); it can be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU).
- LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face 4 of the laminated pane). Consult us for the list of coating validated in contact with the interlayer.
