STADIP glass incorporates a single sheet of PVB with a nominal thickness of 0.38 mm, distinguishing it from STADIP PROTECT glass with a minimum thickness of 0.76 mm; Laminated glasses with varying safety and security levels may be obtained by varying the number and/or thickness of each component.
If the glass breaks, the PVB interlayer(s) holds the fragments of glass in place. The broken glass retains a residual strength in fully framed installations, while waiting for replacement.
There is a wide range of laminated glazing to preserve your safety and that of your home. Laminated safety glass combines well with other types of glass designed to improve comfort such as:
- COOL- LITE
The STADIP & STADIP PROTECT range is made in locations that need:
- Protection against injury
- Guarding and balustrading
- Protection against vandalism and burglary
- Protection against explosions
- Protection against UV light
STADIP or STADIP PRTOECT provides many solutions for the protection of people. If broken, the glass remains stuck to a plastic sheet and is less likely to cause injury to people or property. The interlayer also makes penetration more difficult.
These glass products are designed for differing levels of protection, from vandalism to burglary.
