COOL-LITE® ST is a solar control glass produced by depositing a coating of metallic oxides by magnetically enhanced cathodic sputtering under vacuum conditions on transparent float or body tinted glass

Description

The manufacturing process and form of materials with which the glass is coated ensure that this coating offers excellent stability and resistance during handling. These qualities enable this coated glass to be processed (tempered, laminated, lacquered) while still retaining its aesthetic and technical benefits. 

 

APPLICATION

COOL-LITE® ST is a high performance solar control glass which offers architects numerous architectural flexibility. Such glasses are ideal for all styles of structures, large projects and small buildings, such as: 

  • Office buildings
  • Stores
  • Schools
  • Industrial buildings
  • Houses
  • Facades
  • Roofs for winter gardens
  • Double skin applications

BENEFITS

To give different functions, COOL-LITE® ST can be easily combined with other types of glass:

  • Thermal insulation (with PLANTHERM)
  • Acoustic insulation (with STADIP SILENCE)
  • Security (with STADIP or STADIP PROTECT)
  • Self-cleaning (with BIOCLEAN)

RANGE

COOL-LITE® ST are available in :

  • Sizes: Jumbo size (PLF) 6000 x 3210mm
  • Split sizes on request
  • Standard thickness: 4-6-8mm (other on request)

PROCESSING

Thanks to the highly resistant coating COOL-LITE® ST are glasses easy to process. They can be:

  • Curved
  • Tempered
  • Laminated
  • Enameled
  • Screen printed
  • Used in single or double glazing, with the coating on face 2
  • Does not require edge-deletion
  • Used annealed or tempered, one version for two applications !

PERFORMANCES

The tables below detail the performances of our coatings. Values are given for DGU with clear susbstrate Planiclear.
3 tables are available :
- DGU 6+12+6 mm with coating on surface #2, according to the standards ISO 9050 m1 / EN 6732 
- DGU 6+12+6 mm with coating on surface #2, according to the standards NFRC 100
- DGU 6+16+4 mm with coating on surface #2, according to the standards EN 410, EN 673 and EN ISO 140-3/717-1
