SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS EXPROVER
in the World

Saint -Gobain Glass Exprover oversees glass sales for the building sector in countries where Saint-Gobain Glass is not manufacturing or processing flat glass for this application. In this capacity, SGG Exprover, established in Brussels since 1962, develops and monitors a coherent marketing policy for all the flat glass factories of the Group exporting to these countries promoting the best combination of efficiency and cost reduction.

To implement this policy, SGG Exprover relies on salaried local sales staff in Athens, Singapore, Moscow, Phoenix, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong plus a network of 40 independent agents in countries where there is no local office. This enables SGG Exprover to be active in 90 different countries, notably on the rapidly growing markets of Asia and Eastern Europe.

Although sales of Float and pattern glass still contribute to more than 50% of the turnover, the share of sophisticated high performance architectural products is growing rapidly with the fastest development in the fields of coated energy saving products and bolted glazing.

This combination of a worldwide presence on markets and of intense product development has enabled SG Glass to obtain ,despite the lack of local manufacturing or processing facilities, glass contract supply for such prestigious contract as the Parliement of Moscow ,the Philippine National Bank, the Shanghai Opera and the Dentsu Tower in Tokyo!,
